How do you do street magic??

I want to no how to do street magic, last night i was watching blane darby the magic man and i want to do magic like him.
Tell me how to do at least one cool trick please and thankyou.

"cool trick" is an odd term. Tricks come in and out of fashion. The absolute best way to learn from scratch is to find a local magicians club and go. And be polite. And go again.

Street magic is mostly a variant of close-up, so that's what you want to focus on. And to be honest, it takes the sorts of skills you see in door to door salesmen. You want to be polite, hygienic and well spoken. You don't want to press people if they don't seem to be 'buying into' the idea and you have to have a set of gonads (not literally, figuratively). You have to have the 'umph' to just walk up to people and get a conversation started and unfortunately, it takes practice, practice, practice to do magic well. We have all heard crappy guitar from someone who just took it up last week and wants to ROCK!. But, as in most things, you have to put the time and the effort it to get even half-way good. But it's worth it. Any fair, any park, any bar- you'll make money and get a great deal of satisfaction.

Street magic

Street Magic have been around for years…

Magicians have been doing their feats on the street since ancient times. There is nothing new about bringing magic out on the streets; we have always been there.

Take a good look at this beautiful painting by BOSCH. It is a snapshot of a 500 years old street magic performance! Street magician year 1450!

It was as soon as the middle of the 19th century that magicians started performing in theatres and became fashionable. And since the mid-50’s we started performing on television. In the very good old days we were always in the streets.

So what is the new thing about street magic and David Blaine, Chriss Angel and the other guys?

It is all about attitude.

Take a look at David Blaine; most of his magic tricks are from a magician’s point of view very simple. But he presents them very well with a down-to-earth, cool and sincere attitude.

He looks like an ordinary guy.

No tuxedo
No tie
No rabbits

No sign of any magician.

He is just wearing a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt. He is not pretending. From a spectator’s point of view he is like one of us.

So there is no distance between the performer and the spectator. He creates an atmosphere with no or low expectations. SO when he does even simple magic tricks the spectators freak out.

And the good news is

Some of the tricks can be learned in no time. They are easy self-working magic tricks. What means: You can learn street magic too:-)
